You do not need to be in crisis to call, and you do not need a diagnosis or a referral.
When to reach out
On the days when you are carrying more than you can say out loud, and you want to talk to someone who is not in your family.
If you or someone you love is in immediate danger, use emergency services or a crisis line instead — our crisis page lists them.
