Community guidelines
A soft container for hard conversations. These are the agreements that make the village feel safe.

Lead with kindness
Every parent here is doing their best. Disagree softly, never shame.

Protect privacy
Don't share identifying details about other people's children. Use first names or initials only.
- 3.
No medical advice
We share experiences and ideas, not diagnoses or prescriptions. Always check with a clinician.
- 4.
Honour neurodiversity
We use identity-first or person-first language as people prefer. We don't pathologise difference.
- 5.
Crisis takes priority
If a member is in crisis, point them to /crisis and a moderator. Don't try to be a counsellor.
- 6.
No selling, no spam
This is not a place to promote products, services or other communities without permission.
- 7.
Report rather than retaliate
If something feels off, report it. Our moderators will respond as quickly as we can.
Repeated breaches of these guidelines may result in posts being removed or accounts being suspended.
